Interesting article over in the WSJ about scientists trying to get monkeys or computers acting as monkeys to type all the words in one of Shakespeare’s plays. I enjoyed reading the article and I enjoyed reading that the author thought that perhaps what Shakespeare accomplished was ” species specific”. It was also funny that when a bunch of typewriters were given to some very adept monkeys they showed that they had a preference for the letter “S”.
But, what is all of this about Shakespeare needing a typewriter to publish his works? Everyone knows he used a dictaphone with an electronic pen. 🙂
