Voter ID Law In PA!

Voter’s will have to identify themselves in future elections.  While the law will officially effect the November election, in Montgomery County officials will be doing a dry run during the May primary.

Since tomorrow is the last day anyone can register to vote in the May election I thought it would be important for those folks who don’t have a Photo ID that is legally recognized by PA to find out about how they can go about getting one.

Generally when you get a photo ID in PA you have to pay a fee of $13.50 cents.  If you don’t have any other ID that shows your photo that has been recognized by PA as an accepted form of ID then you can have the fee waived and go and get your picture taken for voting purposes for free.

Here is the DMV  site where you can find out more about the law.
